Produced during Cai Qing's appointment as Full Professor at the School of Art, Design and Media, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Each teaching session was accompanied by newly created sketches, classroom reflections, assignments, and online discussions with students. Combining artistic practice with pedagogical documentation, the publication records the development of an experimental approach in which teaching itself became an ongoing artistic process. Cai Qing's Teaching Case & Face Change 《蔡青教学备案》与《变脸》
In May 2021, I had the honor of serving as a visiting professor at the School of Public Art at the China Academy of Fine Art. Over the course of one month of online teaching, I had the opportunity to engage with students and share my expertise in the field. The results of this collaboration are two impressive publications: "Cai Qing's Teaching Case - School of Public Art, China Academy of Fine Art," a comprehensive 575-page bilingual book in Chinese and English that showcases the insights and perspectives gained from my teaching experience, and "Face Change," an innovative online interactive project that brought together students and international artists in a dynamic and engaging way.
