My curatorial practice does not follow the conventional logic of commercial exhibition making. Instead, it frames performance art as a structured form of knowledge production, building long-term, non-hierarchical exchange platforms that connect artists, researchers and local communities across cultural boundaries. The Live Art Tour series, running continuously since 2013, has grown into one of the most sustained international performance art networks operating today. 我的策展实践不遵循商业展览制作的常规逻辑。它将行为艺术视为一种结构化的知识生产方式，搭建跨越文化边界的长期、非等级化交流平台，连接艺术家、研究者与地方社群。Live Art Tour系列自2013年起持续运作，已发展为当今最具持续性的国际行为艺术网络之一。

The 10th-anniversary edition of the series, extending into the context of Art Basel Paris. Curated by Cai Qing, the 11th edition of the Live Art Tour platform gathered international artists at the Non Grata Art Center in Pärnu and in Tallinn. The programme included an August 2024 preview residency, a week of workshops, live performances and citywide interventions in July 2026, and a closing event at KUMU Art Museum coinciding with the museum's 20th anniversary. Curated by Cai Qing, this festival was presented during Singapore Art Week (23–30 January 2026) by the Singapore Cultural and Arts Exchange Centre and the Nanyang Star Organizing Committee. The event comprised three parts: an international live art programme inviting artists to create across the Nanyang Star Art Centre and wider public spaces; a dual exhibition of Egyptian artist Salwa Elhamamsy and Singaporean artist Xie Sunbao; and sustained community interactions — a symbolic convergence of latitudes at the very threshold of the new year, as Cai Qing bid farewell to his home of eighteen years on the NTU campus. 由蔡青策展，本届艺术节在2026年新加坡艺术周（1月23–30日）期间，由新加坡文化艺术交流中心和南洋之星组委会隆重推出。活动分为三部分：邀请国际行为艺术家汇聚新加坡，以南洋之星艺术中心室内外及更广阔的公共空间作为现场创作场地；举办「埃及艺术家Salwa Elhamamsy + 新加坡艺术家谢逊宝」双人展；以及持续的社区互动——在新年伊始之际完成一次纬度的象征性汇聚，也是蔡青告别他居住了18年的南洋理工大学校园之时。

Institutional collaborative project co-hosted with 7 top New York contemporary art spaces. Cai Qing participated in the Water Tower Art Fest in Sofia on three occasions, developing the interactive work "Colorful Star" and the durational performance "Becoming a Statue in the Ancient City" in Veliko Tarnovo. This research publication maps performance art festivals and practices across Southeast Asia, from the early Singapore "Future of Imagining" Festival (2008) and Bangkok ASIATOPIA (2008) to recent editions in Myanmar, Vietnam, Laos and the 2025 Chiang Mai Transcend Performance Art Festival.
